Operating systems are basically two types. those are network operating system and client operating system. the server PC are access network operating system and the general PC which we are using are used with the client operating system. some example of network operating systems are Windows 2008 server wonder 2003 server, unix, linux etc. some example of client operating system are Windows XP, Windows 7, windows 8, Windows 10 etc.For general using purpose you need to install a client operating system like Windows 7 for your home use or official use. but when you need to add or manage many computer from one computer then you need to install a network operating system or server operating system like Windows 2008 server.
