Doordarshan has started DD Sports HD channel on the occasion of Olympic Tokyo 2020. This is the 3rd HD channel by Doordarshan. This channel is also available for free. Currently the channel is available on DD Free Dish & DishTV. On DD Free Dish The channel has been added by replacing the DD National HD channel and on dishtv the same is available on channel no 598. You can enjoy the Olympic events in HD for free with DD Sports HD channel.
This seems to be a good movement by Indian Doordarshan towards the HD section. Including this channel, now doordarshan is having total 3 HD channels. DD News HD, DD National HD & DD Sports HD. In the year 2021-22 the Indian viewers will also see more numbers of HD channel from DD.
